Both Self and Brindles are an off shoot of breeding roans.
Selfs are generally available in Black and Red. Less commonly in Chocolate, Lilac, Beige, REO and very rarely cream.
Brindles are a an intermixed coat of both black and red. There can be absolutely no white in the coat.
