Blue Roans & Black Selfs

Blue roan is sort of the classic of roans.  Although it is a fairly common coloration it is hard to beat for visual appeal.  Few things look as dramatic as a well roaned blue in full coat.
Blacks are generally thought of as 'plain janes' but a black with deep rich color in coat really is something to see.
This along with the Tri-roans are the best developed of my roans.

Spicer Mad Max as a Sr. - BOB Ann Arbor Rabbit Breeders "All-Night Show" 2002 - Started in coat by Mara Spicer, continuation of coating & photograph by myself (taken while still damp).  Max is my main blue roan stud boar at this time.  He is also out of Keegan's Phantom.

BlueMoon Phantom's Blax (Self Black Boar) - Blax is out of Keegan's Phantom.  He is closely related to Spicer Mad Max as well.  Blax is one of several of my black boars.

IC Silver Plumb (Lilac Roan Sow) & IC Little Boy Blue (Blue Roan Boar) - This litter was a nice surprise.  Plumb is my first lilac roan.  She is part of my fall show string.
Blue is off to OH with Kelly Roper to get her started with Silkie Roans.  We are hoping for big things from him!
