Tri-Color Roans and Brindles

Tri-Colors are generally accepted to be black/red/white roans because it is the most common.  Tri-roan really means any two colors with white so you can also have mixtures which include black, red, chocolate and cream.  Dilute tri-roans are a posiblity as well, they will simply be any two dilute versions of the colors listed above and white. 
At this time I only breed the Tris in black/red/white.  Anything with Chocolate, Cream, dilute tri-roans or dilute brindles are used instead in the single color roan groups.
The biggest issue I have with this group is to avoid patchiness in the Brindles and to achieve evenness of color in the Roans.  It is believed that the same modifiers that make the roaning even on the Roans also make the brindling even on the Brindles.  This seems to be the case in my experience.

BlueMoon Dwight (Tri-Roan Boar) -  Dwight is one of NightWing's sons (seen below in the brindle photos).  I have used Dwight extensively in my program and he has been a great sire. 
Update!  Dwight is off to TX to participate in Jonathan Conrad's roan program.

IC Northern Lights (Tri-Roan Boar) - This little guy is a son of  IC Bright Aura and IC Patriot Star.  Depending on his developement he is slated to be Dwight's replacement.  He will be in my fall/spring show string.
